Remember when Wal-Mart blamed its Web site's cross-selling feature for recommending "similar" items like "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge" and "Martin Luther King: I Have a Dream" to people who bought "Planet of the Apes"?
Now I see that Amazon.com is packaging Star Jones' new book about finding true love with Al Reynolds along with a new book about the Laci Peterson murder. Is this just another "computer glitch" or might Amazon's cross-selling program be trying to warn everyone's favorite stomach-stapled homo-loving attorney about impending doom? (My fingers are crossed.)
