Former Mets star Mike Piazza got a hero's welcome last night at Shea Stadium, but was smart enough not to push his luck by leading his San Diego Padres to a narrow loss. (NYP)Although these photos are meant to have news value, I'd say they more than double for today's Sporting Wood.
