Song of the Day: 'Roadrunner' by the Know

Blondie fans may remember that bassist Gary Valentine left the band after the group's debut album, quickly forming a power-pop band called the Know. Well this clip of them covering the Modern Lovers' "Roadrunner" live at Hurrah on Mother's Day 1980 was a fun one to discover because we all saw it for the first time Valentine did!

The "X Offender" and "(I'm Always Touched by Your) Presence Dear" songster wrote:
I'm Gary Valentine. I've never seen this before, didn't know it existed, and as far as I know, it's the only video of my band the Know. Can whomever filmed this and made it available to the Museum of Contemporary Art, and anyone else involved in the exhibition, get in touch with me? I'd like to know if there is any other footage of the band. Fantastic to have discovered this, especially as the group I am playing with now, Bootleg Blondie, have decided to add "Roadrunner" to the act. Talk about coincidence.
The video was part of "WonderPunk: Punk Is Coming" by Merrill Lynn Aldighieri at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Westport, Conn.

The exhibition has ended, but you can read about it HERE.
