We had two unlikely championship matches at Indian Wells on Sunday. But between the men's finalists -- winner Cam Norrie and runner-up Nikoloz Basilashvili -- and women's winner Paula Badosa's boyfriend, it was a win-win-win. Full report BELOW.
Sex bomb Cameron Norrie became the first (sort-of) Briton to win the Indian Wells title when he fought back from a set and a break down to beat Nikoloz Basilashvili.
Norrie, 26, won 3-6 6-4 6-1 against the Georgian to seal the biggest title of his career
Basilashvili's shorts should have received of trophy of their own
And on the women's side, No.21 seed Paula Badosa overcame No.27 Victoria Azarenka 7-6(5), 2-6, 7-6(2) to win the final WTA 1000 event of the season.
Azarenka served for the match at 5-4 and was up 30-love when she missed a routine forehand, which proved costly.
Badosa really didn't need the trophy because win or lose, the 23-year-old Spaniard already had a prize waiting for her in boyfriend Juan Betancourt. (More on him tomorrow!)
John Peers and Filip Polasek survived a rollercoaster second set to edge Aslan Karatsev and Andrey Rublev 6-3 7-6(5) to win the men's doubles title Saturday night.
