I have always wanted to do a gay themed music festival: George Michael would headline, as would Pet Shop Boys with the Scissor Sisters invited. There would be a a women's day featuring classics: Indigo Girls, Janis Ian, Melissa Etheridge, Tegan & Sara... Rufus Wainwright and Elton would have a day...Oh, I haven't thought of this in a while. I mean Ricky Martin would be part of the Elton Day. As would Peter Allen. Three days. And then there are all those young boy singers... and a dance music tent... I just wanna make it happen.
Queen, Elvis and the Beatles.
ReplyDeleteQueen, Diana and the Beatles

ReplyDeleteThat is difficult! Bowie, Blondie, Cash...
ReplyDeleteEmerson, Lake & Palmer 1970-1974 esp. the "Brain Salad Surgery" tour
ReplyDeleteKing Crimson 1973-1974
The Who 1968-1974
It would be a pretty low-key festival, since most of those performers are dead.
ReplyDeleteThat little problem aside, could I just have Bowie for all three shows? With maybe the Buzzcocks as the opening act?
Out of this lot, I'd have to go 60's rock classic with Elvis and the Beatles, and a little bit punk with Joy Division.
ReplyDeleteQueen,Bowie and Prince!! Doesn't get much better than that!!
ReplyDeleteBob Marley. After that? Whatever.
ReplyDeletePrince, Blondie, Bowie. I feel Queen needs to be in there, but......
ReplyDeleteQueen, Bowie and The Beatles. Gosh, that would be so awesome! Thanks for the idea for my next "Set List" on the iPod.
