Song of the Day: 'Gimme Shelter' by the Rolling Stones


This one, perhaps their best, reminds me of the end of an era -- a feeling that haunts me these days.

    My all time favorite Stones song. If you haven't seen '50 ft from Stardom', it has a great piece about this song by the woman who was called in the middle of the night to come down to the studio to sing her part.
