My two cents, for what it's worth: Jack Benny! Love him. The song? Minus any nostalgia factor is atrocious. Corny and cheesy, is fine, but there's nothing distinctive. Plus, not a fan of children singing about things they don't really know about. The Bradys and Partridges should've wiped the floor with them. :-)
Hmm.. Strip out the background track and clean up the vocal track. Change the vocal track (auto tune) change the pitch and key. Overlay that on a new dance, dubstep or pop-ish track. Yes I do believe it can work.. make changes, sample/loop the hell out of certain parts and it could just work. LOL It does have a catchy hook.
Tony is a couple of years away from being "dreamy" to me. But the intro is a reminder how GAY GAY GAY Jack Benny comes across, and always did. He was one of our great comedians.
dear god that was horrifying
