Song of the Day: 'Promised You a Miracle' by Simple Minds
Kind of a shame that Simple Minds are best known for their "Breakfast Club" song seeing as they released one of the decade's best singles, "Promised You a Miracle," off their 1982 album, "New Gold Dream (81–82–83–84)."
A great band ruined by a shitty Top 40 hit. Saw them in 1985, they were an amazing live act, love the albums "Empires and Dance" and "Sparkle In The Rain". Great choice!
