I guess Billy Mays makes three. Very sad. Makes me wonder if all the "energy" he had wasn't just natural excitement for the products he was pitching after all. Wouldn't have been nearly as bummed if it had been Vince "ShamWow" Shlomi, whose food chopper commercials annoy me so much that I come close to killing myself each time they're on.
Wouldn't he make four? I count Ed McMann as the first.

Carradine died on June 5, almost a month ago. I don't think he fits in this group of four.

ReplyDeleteI saw him doing an Oxiclean (I think) demonstration at the BBQ Festival in Madison Sq Pk just a couple weekends ago. I've never seen hair and a beard that color before. Black, but like shoe-polish black.
I always had to mute the TV when he came on, god rest his soul.
