Honey, please!! Don't sell yourself short and lean in to stereotypes. Yes, the kids are balls in with social media and what not. I am older than you and yes I have a Instagram account. I used to have a TikTok account, but I got banned. Long story. I am innocent. I was not an active poster but I liked to follow certain people. I think I have a Threads account but never used the application. I can't remember the last time I posted on Instagram. Here again I follow certain people. Now Facebook was the same way. I rarely posted, if ever. I just followed folks. I deleted Facebook years ago. I have never been a looking at my phone 24/7 type person. I have been known to forget my phone at home when I am out and about. I can work my way around an app. I can figure out anything. I am rambling. I am just saying just because one is mature in life does not mean they can't embrace technology. I have always said if I have to use it every day, I can figure it out. I am just not like the younger generations that can't live without social media and their phones. I have a folder on the toolbar of my laptop of all the blogs I follow and just go down the list every day. I scroll through my Instagram to see what my followers are saying. Sometimes I just watch the reels because the feed as so many posts of folks I don't follow. If it was a post, I review the full post. I have to at times cease all suggestions for 30 days. Yes, I am older, and I am not afraid of technology. And no one should be surprised by that, or assume that since I am a certain age, I know nothing about current technology. That would piss me off more than anything.
