We're still perplexed here in Ventura why Oxnard was #35 when they don't even have a gay bar (or an open gay community to my knowledge), while Ventura has always had a prominent gay community and a popular local gay bar ("Paddy's"- and "Incognito" and "The Library" before that) for decades.
Meanwhile, this other list came out and NYC did not even make the top 10! I guess it just depends on who is making the list and what criteria they use.
Live right between #2 and #28. Does that make my town #14?

ReplyDeleteReally?
ReplyDeleteWilton Manors, Florida doesn't make the list?
That gives me issues with the credibility or methodology.
I call bullshit. Bakersfield, but not Provincetown? And, of course, it's very coast-centric.
