This video is divine, both for its romantic look at life in Greenwich Village in the '60s -- "suburban living on an urban landscape" -- and for its not-so-subtle product placement for cotton, which later became the fabric of our lives. (Morgan Spurlock would be proud!) After dinner at the Waverly Inn -- still a hot spot -- how about a "party in the garret of a bohemian friend?" (Sounds fun!) (Via Towleroad/Gothamist)
Who knew that the Village was so straight back then? Although that does explain the fascination with corduroy.
