I'm not even a big fan, but she's a real rock star. The crowd went nuts, her vocals sounded as good as ever (she put her back-up singers to shame; they were completely irrelevant). Proud Mary was unbelievable. It got a little slow with some of those bad 80s songs (Private Dancer? Possibly the worse song ever written), and she sang most of the second act sitting on a stool, but she is 69 and sounded great the whole time. She starts the show in skin-tight black biker shorts; it's hard to believe her ass is for real. I hope I look as good when I turn 29 again (next year) as she does at 69. <BR/><BR/>And btw Tom Cruise walked right by me and I think gave me the eye.
