I've often wondered where that panel currently abides.Doctor Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15554940047864378028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16333114.post-45259656199180552552009-10-12T13:24:16.007-04:002009-10-12T13:24:16.007-04:00I meant "his first," not "the first...I meant "his first," not "the first." It's going to be an exciting time. So many young people where there that before prop 8 didn't have the need or tools to come together. The internet is changing that. Thanks for your part in the fight.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05317892072409645106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16333114.post-87793438341520645122009-10-12T11:05:35.141-04:002009-10-12T11:05:35.141-04:00I was also at the march in 1993. I also got married in the mass wedding but that's a whole different story, lol.Kevinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00708214044652465550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16333114.post-23613382451547246472009-10-12T10:49:40.326-04:002009-10-12T10:49:40.326-04:00Very nice photo essay. President Bush appointed Michael Guest, a gay career member of the Foreign Service as an Ambassador in 2001 (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Guest" rel="nofollow">wikipedia</a>).Chuckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13957464912756640551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16333114.post-38345121626211009712009-10-12T09:13:37.748-04:002009-10-12T09:13:37.748-04:00I agree with you on all of this (wow...we totally ...I agree with you on all of this (wow...we totally agree). I am getting more and more disheartened not by Obama's lack of movement, which is greatly exaggerated, but by one part of the gay movement's increasing desire to have results NOW, to paint Obama as not just slow on the draw but secretly homophobic and to now start attacking the rest of us who are not with them 100% in these beliefs. Now some group has vandalized the HRC HQ and I've read positive comments about this. I'm sorry, but while I respect all the people on our side, we're never getting any progress from radicalized groups. Progress, not being right, has to be the final goal.Matthewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11019970115004143708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16333114.post-17222931197575761962009-10-12T08:06:44.252-04:002009-10-12T08:06:44.252-04:00Obama didn't appoint the first openly gay amba...Obama didn't appoint the first openly gay ambassador: Clinton did in appointing James Hormel to Luxembourg. Bush also appointed one: Michael Guest to Romania. Huebner is hardly a breakthrough.cairnglenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01262700201960495847noreply@blogger.com
