In the GQ article, it says thin guys should go with a short-legged trunk.  BUT,  Ronen (from Parke and Ronen) told me (when I was in his store) that when he sells that style to department store buyers, the buyers refer to the short-legged trunk as the &amp;quot;fat person shorts&amp;quot;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I met a higher-up of Los Angeles magazine once, an he said the &amp;quot;style&amp;quot; department just basically makes up style rules for their articles for the hell of it.
