And it is very very difficult to figure out what's wrong when our patients can't talk to us. I'm glad to hear Troy's back home, though and doing better. If you need a refernce for a good vet in your area, I'll be glad to research one for you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16333114.post-1132612819650314932005-11-21T17:40:00.000-05:002005-11-21T17:40:00.000-05:00Oh no! She collapsed on his exam table after he palpated her abdomen, and we had to put her to sleep when x-rays revealed internal bleeding! But on the other hand, I tried to keep in mind that it's gotta be hell to diagnose and treat a critter that can't communicate how it feels, what's wrong, etc. (And in Howard's case, she WAS 16. And yes, she was a she.)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16333114.post-1132600188992351482005-11-21T14:09:00.000-05:002005-11-21T14:09:00.000-05:00I'm sorry to hear about Troy's unfortunate situati...I'm sorry to hear about Troy's unfortunate situation. I like the word "recovering," however, because it leads me to believe he's going to be okay. I hope that's the case.timothyjlamberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01467543753070472983noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16333114.post-1132593196344001532005-11-21T12:13:00.000-05:002005-11-21T12:13:00.000-05:00Dreadful.
