Hot Cat of the Day: You're looking at a very good boy, who (begrudgingly) allowed us to take him in for an ultrasound and an endoscopy last week. The biopsy results finally came in yesterday and we got great news: Harvey doesn't have cancer or even inflammatory bowel disease. His puking and related weight loss appear to be the result of a helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection in his stomach. The vet prescribed triple antibiotics and Omeprazole (like father, like son!). We are over the moon, even though there's little chance we'll ever be able to get him to take any of his meds!
"Dancer from the Dance" is very well written but kind of depressing
ReplyDeleteThat is so good to hear! I am sure you and damian are very relieved after all this waiting!!Not to mention his lordship!
ReplyDeleteGreat news!
ReplyDeleteI just Joan Crawford my cat with medz...you know: I'm bigger than you, stronger than you, and I will always win.
ReplyDelete@Rix: We're in awe of you. After striking out -- and winding up bloody -- we finally found out our vet will "pill" our cat for us in we bring him in ... so we have been twice a day!
