Twitter: Billie Jean King shared this photo and a story about Althea Gibson for Black History Month, which in turn triggered my childhood memories of Andrea Buchanan (second from left). The young player was murdered along with her boss in 1982 while working in a restaurant in Los Angeles to raise money to compete on the European tour, in a harrowing case that remains unsolved.
