'Empire Records' is a film that didn't do well at the box office but found a huge following on video. I've been a fan since I did see it when it was released. It's a wonderful, Day-In-The-Life of a record store.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious how it's going to be presented on stage, seeing how a huge part of the movies charm is the soundtrack. I hear songs are being written... but will there be recorded representation too?
That said... Has Broadway, like Hollywood, run out of original ideas? Tho... B'way does have a history of adapting movies...
