Weekend Tennis Roundup


He lost to the world No.  920 in qualifying, but Leonardo Mayer went home with his second career title -- again in Hamburg  -- by defeating Florian Mayer in three sets.



John Isner followed up his title in Newport with a tight  straight-sets win over fellow American Ryan Harrison to also claim Atlanta ...

Fabio Fognini won his first title since becoming a father, edging Yannick Hanfmann in two close sets in Gstaad.



Instead of talking about Kateřina Siniaková's win at the Swedish Open -- the Czech's second title this year -- people are aghast that Caroline Wozniacki is now zero for five finals in 2017 -- and hasn't even come close to winning a set in any of them.



And finally, Peng Shuai wins the second WTA title of her career by defeating Nao Hibino 6-3, 6-2 in the final of Nanchang. No. 23 and Chinese No.1 again!

    Ryan's rear deserves to be framed in a jock strap and swatted with a paddle....He's got a classic jock rump!
