John Lennon Assassinated 36 Years Ago at the Dakota


I was home on Kiva watching TV when the news came in. Do you remember where you were on that fateful day in 1980?


His widow, Yoko Ono, is still pleading for gun control, but of course no one is listening.

    I woke up to the clock radio. The dj was saying Lennon had been murdered. I was 32 at the time. Felt like my youth had died that day.
