Song of the Day: 'Valerie Loves Me' by Material Issue


I remember hearing this song at my friend JR's house in Ferndale when I was visiting back in 1991. Never thought of again ... until today!

    I loved Material Issue, and its pure pop energy.

    FYI The lead singer, Jim Ellison, was yet another of those tragic rock suicides.
