Song of the Day: 'Woman in Love' by Barbra Streisand

Not sure how applicable this would be in the general population, but I've never seen something bring people together of all shapes, sizes, races and backgrounds as this Babs classic did the other night at Julius' in the West Village. Perhaps we could replace "The National Anthem" with it for a while and see how it goes?

Love Barbra! What fun to listen to Woman in Love. Thanks for the memories. I remember when this hit #1 in 1980...I was in my hot prime and had more than my share of late night fun. I miss those great days and wonderful nights... Oh well, time for this generation to have fun. Bet most in that West Village club were not even born in 1980!

Anyway, Barbra has been entertaining us for almost 60 years! Many love her and many do not. Just watch "What's Up Doc"? TWWW or Funny Girl. Listen to Guilty, The Broadway Album or any of the over 60 CD's out there...

Come on, you have to admit there will never be another Barbra Joan Streisand!

And she has been supporting us for years and years... come to think of it we have been supporting her for years.....
what a great relationship!

Ever notice the musical similarities between this song and Britney Spears' "Oops I Did It Again?"
