I'm still too hung over to be definitive about this, but I do know "Parting Glances" would be on top, as it was for one of the guys on here ... and I like the inclusion of "Doing Time on Maple Drive" by another guy. My pal Matt notes how little overlap there is on the five guys' lists -- he's the one who chose "Parting Glances," yet I wouldn't pick any of his other nine -- and the diversity is indeed curious because I would put "Trick" on my list and I see no one else did.

ReplyDeleteI didn't care for "Longtime Companion" when I first saw it. But then I began losing friends from effects of AIDS. I now can't help but get choked up thinking about that last scene where everyone is celebrating an imagined end to this plague with a reunion with those who have passed.
