It seems every school kid in the 60s and 70s went to Bob-Lo for their class trip. Captain Bob-Lo was a little person with ill-fitting dentures who frightened many children. The Bob-lo boats still sit docked and decaying in the Detroit River at the foot of the Renaissance Center (at least they were two years ago).
I used to love Bob-Lo too. Did Cap'n Bob-Lo ever let you toot the horn?
