Me-TV reminds us that "Leave It to Beaver" debuted on CBS 56 years ago this week -- Oct. 4, 1957 -- but all I can recall is Dreamboat Wally ... Read HERE.
I loved this show when I was a kid --Ward and June were the parents I never had-- but they're running the 6th and final season on MeTV now, when Tony Dow was 18 and WOOF! He's always walking out of the bathroom after a shower but unfortunately, he's always got a big bathrobe on.
Wally was the living definition of "Dreamboat". That ass! Woof!
This is particularly apparent in the later seasons as Beaver moved into an "awkward" stage, the storylines shift noticeably to the increasingly attractive Wally.

ReplyDeleteI LOVED Wally. It's a shame he was born into an era that didn't objectify its male celebrities nearly as much as we do now. :-P
