Watched the LA/Seattle match last night on ESPN2 just to see Robbie - as I'm sure many other curious people who aren't necessarily fans of soccer did. Ugh. He won't get me to follow a sport I've known for a long time that I don't have the patience for.
MLS does participate in the Brendan Burke-related "You Can Play" campaign which was interesting to see promoted on that historic night. Occasionally the slogan "Unity, Respect, Equality, Acceptance, Fair Play" would run on the electronic billboard that surrounded the field.
it's not boring, it's just not your thing!
