Another step forward in the fight for full equality: President Obama announced in a statement to the Washington Blade today that he opposes the Boy Scouts' ban on gay scouts and gay scout leaders. (I give it a week before his Republican presidential opponent, Mitt Romney, flips on this one, as he has on every other LGBT-inclusive opinion he has ever had, as he continues to capitulate to the most extreme members of his base.)
