Dear Lord: please let there be another "Friday Night Lights" movie. With the former Tim Riggins now starring in two of the biggest box-office disasters in recent memory, a big-screen version of the cult TV show may be the only way Taylor Kitsch works again.
The problem with John Carter wasn't with the stars, it was with the marketing. If they'd have named it "John Carter of Mars," and marketed it as from the creator of Tarzan, they might have done better. It was a pretty cool movie, certainly not a bomb, quality-wise. And he IS hot!
