Gawker has declared Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" the perfect pop song. I had to listen with the sound down very low, so am withholding judgment. But the video's definitely everything a gay could hope for, right up to the last second. UPDATE: Yeah, that's pretty catchy, all right. The line "until you came into my life I missed you so bad" is what really makes the song. Good call, Gawker!

ReplyDeleteThis song is a major earworm. It's been on heavy rotation on Canadian pop radio for months. Trivia note: Carly Rae finished 3rd on Canadian Idol Season 5.
