I TOTALLY passed Jake Gyllenhaal as I was getting on the 1 train on my corner last week -- Page Six has an item about his life here now -- but convinced myself it couldn't possibly be him when he didn't respond to my dropped-jaw stare and say, "Yes, it's me!" (Talk about a missed photo-op!) Michael is the one who normally spots people for me -- I'm such an asshole.

a friend saw Jake coming out of a building next to theirs, and his wife asked if she could have a pic with him. He said "No" and walked away.
