Can't tell you how many times I've forwarded a link or brought up a topic that I know will be of interest to someone only to have them act as if it's a complete coincidence that they're into something I mentioned. (Um, I KNOW -- that's WHY I brought it up!) I suppose my borderline autistic memory about people's personal details is likely to "blame" -- and other people don't expect me to retain such trivial details -- but I do find it funny.

Idiot Savant
Can't tell you how many times I've forwarded a link or brought up a topic that I know will be of interest to someone only to have them act as if it's a complete coincidence that they're into something I mentioned. (Um, I KNOW -- that's WHY I brought it up!) Nothing idiotic about it--maybe you actually _listen_ to people when they are talking to you!
