Actually, depending on the model, they can be quite decent. Hold your breath, tuck your elbows inward and let it autofocus! My BB 9700 Bold (T-Mobile) shoots very nicely. Granted, when you're in a hurry, focusing isn't on the menu...and sometimes the subjects don't sit still long enough to help....
