'I Don't Get It'

My mom may not have ever been in any danger of winning a Mother of the Year award back in the day -- "I'm just happy I never killed any of you kids" is her pat response whenever she's questioned about her questionable parenting skills. But I gotta give her this: She's nothing if not predictable.
