
Spotted the arrival of the big Christmas tree over at Rockefeller Center this morning.
CNN reports that the 74-foot tall Norway spruce weighs approximately 12 tons and was cut Thursday in Mahopac, N.Y. It will be lit for the first time on Tuesday, Nov. 30.
what a waste of a perfectly good tree. With global warming caused by gasses which trees eliminate wouldn't it be smarter to be planting trees instead of cutting them down?
ReplyDeleteI agree. Why do they need to cut down a perfectly fine tree in order to display it for two months.
