Sorry to read that "The Temperamentals" is closing after just three months of performances. I never got around to seeing it (oops), but friends who have seen it say it's great. Still, with its gay-history storyline and all-gay characters, I'm not surprised that it did brilliantly off-off-Broadway yet failed on the much bigger New World Stages. The show, which recently received a Drama Desk Award for Best Ensemble Performance and a Lucille Lortel Award for star Michael Urie, will have its final performance on May 30.

'Temp' Engagement
Sorry to read that "The Temperamentals" is closing after just three months of performances. I never got around to seeing it (oops), but friends who have seen it say it's great. Still, with its gay-history storyline and all-gay characters, I'm not surprised that it did brilliantly off-off-Broadway yet failed on the much bigger New World Stages. My friend took my to this show last week and it was wonderful!
