So I decided to stay an extra day in Washington. I couldn't pass up the chance to spend my birthday with my mom -- and the rest of my family who were in town. (And Roger won the French, so I got everything I asked for!) I am attempting this post from my cellphone on the train home. They seem to limit the characters on the "text" message I just sent (a la Twitter) although this picture message seems to allow for up to 1,000 characters (not sure what to make of that). Before I write anything else I am going to take a peak at my blog and see if this worked. (If it did, I'll be better prepared to post when I'm away in the future.) Will be back to regular blogging tomorrow assuming the train stops STALLING every 100 feet (WTF?) ...
