I'm not sure that it's necessary to record
anything that airs on TNT (don't they repeat EVERYTHING 10 times a day?), but
Alessandra Stanley's review of "Trust Me," a new series set in a Chicago advertising agency, has me genuinely curious to learn more about the, um, product. Eric McCormack was never my favorite part of "Will and Grace," but Tom Cavanagh's short-lived music industry show on CBS, "Love Monkey," was one of my favorite network shows in years. Might I have found my next "fave" show ever? ...

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but hasn't history shown that if it's one of your "faves", it's destined for cancellation?
ReplyDeleteI had high hopes, but everybody else seems to hate it.
ReplyDeleteI've worked in advertising for about 15 years and honestly, I found it insulting. Cliched, cliched, cliched.
ReplyDeleteThe shots in the beginning showing sexy Tom in bathrobe, and "getting less sexy" Eric barefoot was the highlight of the episode. Gotta give a couple of weeks before we pan it.
ReplyDeleteI am an ad student and i really don't like the show that much. Mad Men is so much, so much better.
