Unbelievable rescue effort going on in the Hudson River HERE. (A bird strike is to blame.)
UPDATE: The good news is all the passengers and crew are safe, just very cold. (The bad news is that they're being transported to St. Vincent's, the city's worst hospital.)
Thank God everyone is alright! That is why I always try to get a seat by the exit door. I wouldn't jump first, but I trust myself over some of the others I've seen in those seats, like the fatties, the xanax sleepers, and even teen agers--which btw once I even insisted that the teen prove his age (must be 18) or change seats. And I got his seat.
Is this why Bush just announced a U.S. war on poultry?
ReplyDeletehow do birds survive in below freezing weather? (i think it was an inside job)

ReplyDeleteSt. Vincent's the worst? Naw, that'd be St. Clare. Oh, right, now St. Vincent Midtown. OK, you're correct.
