In-Box

I'm sure I'll be getting cease and desist letters from some high-priced Scientology lawyer any second now for posting this, but a reader (or smear-campaign artist, you decide) sends in this alleged "answer" to yesterday's Hollywood gay rape blind item. If the part about the police report is true, surely one of my readers in law enforcement out West can do a little, um, poking around for me. (BTW: the spelling errors -- for a change -- are his, not mine!):

Kenneth,
I read your story about the closeted actor who raped a former boyfriend. All of the names listed were wrong, it was actually Will Smith. You and Page 6 were wrong about some of the other details as well. The former boyfriend did report Will to the Lost Hills Sherrifs Department. The payoff was done to keep him from pressing charges. The charges were indeed dropped. The former boyfriend also needed surgery because his anus had a small split called a fisure after the incident.

To set the record straight, it wasn't rape, it was more of rough play that the two played on many occasions. It got out of hand and Will didn't stop. He's not a rapist but he and his wife both live a life filled with lies. They don't have sex with each other or in thier home. They live in Hidden Hills but they have a seperate home in nearby Agoura Hills just for sex with others. If this world were more accepting of gay people, I think Will and Jada would be living happy, honest lives with other people. On a final note, I was one of Will's boyfriends for a while. I think we all get a max of 4 months and then he moves on.

Kevin

Will was my guess. Doesn't everyone already know he and Jada are just a sham marriage? I thought it was common knowledge.

"To set the record straight, it wasn't rape, it was more of rough play that the two played on many occasions. It got out of hand and Will didn't stop."

Um... wouldn't not stopping sort of be one of the crucial components of rape

Someone took $500K as hush money from Will Smith? That doesn't make sense. He makes about $50m a year.

    else could have posted
    a smear like that,
    when its all

  10. Will was my first guess, Tom Cruise (he is in that Tropic Whatever movie) was the second.

  11. In a world where most of the country believes McCain is the one who's a man of the people, of course this isn't hard to believe.

I just wish someone would FINALLY come up with real proof and not just salacious innuendo.

If it wasn't rape, why were the police called? And who is the father of their budding nightmare of a son?

The most shocking thing of all to me is how many people in 2008 still react to one of life's little show biz realities by asking "If he's gay, then who is the father of Will's children with Jada?" As if the world is only comprised of a choice of either/or absolutes. Obviously, it doesn't take love or heterosexuality to breed offspring--it just takes friction. Deal with it.

My bullshit detector went off after reading this note.

    1. "The payoff was done to keep him from pressing charges. The charges were indeed dropped." That makes no sense: if the boyfriend was paid to keep him from pressing charges, no charges would have been made. So there are no charges to "drop."

    2. The person who wrote this knows an awful lot about the boyfriend and claims to have been Will's boyfriend in the past. That rings false. Closeted men with a lot to lose from being outed live highly compartmentalized lives. It would be stand to reason that his various boyfriends would not know about each other. Certainly not enough to know about the anal fisures that happen to the current boyfriend. Think about it: how well do you know your boyfriend's former boyfriends? How often to boyfriends of a closeted person who has a lot to lose by being outed get together to dish about their experience with that closeted person? I'd say close to never.

I'm not really surprised that "Kevin" would defend it as not entirely being raped. Abused people often find ways to defend their abuser. It wasn't a random attack, it was someone he was somewhat dating. Mixed feelings and self delusion, I'm sure.

  17. Am I the only one who's relieved it might not be Christian Bale? I will forever cup my hands over my ears and say, "La la la la..." if any more evidence comes forward that Christian Bale is a brute. :D

  18. LMAO @ Amy!

I tried that when the 2004 election returns were coming in -- didn't work at all.

  19. @ Amy- I didn't think it was Bale. He's a kook, but no brute so you can stop singing the la la la's to stave off bad news bears about our boy Bale!

If ONLY America weren't homophobic because homophobia obviously causes men to rape their lovers.
Poor Will Smith - he's just misunderstood.

    Some other possibilities...

Ashton Kutcher: "What Happens in Vegas"

    Mark Wahlberg: "The Happening"

    Justin Timberlake: "The Love Guru"

    David Duchovny: "The X-Files"

    Harrison Ford: "Indiana Jones"

    The Rock: "Get Smart"

Jason Lewis: "Sex and the City"

    Colin Firth: "Mamma Mia"

I can see Smith being into sort of "Looking for Mister Goodbar" rough sex. It explains a lot of things, except for why he's buying into the racism and homophobia of $cientology. Life is full of funny, self-hating paradox that's sure. Oh well, Mr. Smith if you need a therapist I'm a) available, and b) will charge less than Hollyweird rapists and still make bank off you. Feel free to call.

Yeah I was thinking Tom Cruise.... But it is sad that they ( Will & Jada) have to go on pretending about who they are if indeed they are gay..... Society is changing.... Little by little but we will get there.....
