I heard a bit of it with a friend the other day (he's a music reviewer). It's pretty soulful. One of the tracks had a reggae/ska vibe to it. Her voice sounds as wonderful as ever - there are moments where she sounds a lot like TIna Turner. And there's a pretty cool cover of Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Under the Bridge." I'm looking forward to the release - too bad it doesn't have more of a Xanadu sound to it, though!
What happened to big TD with flaming red hair and bondage style leather gear from the "Tell It To My Heart" video? This looks like something Joan River's surgeon just said no to.
When one's face has been completely re-designed so as to render one completely unrecognizable, that's not "some work." That has to be the scariest celeb-pic I've seen in years.
