You weren't the only one who noticed. I think my exact words were "my God, that's Patrick Dempsey? When did he get HOT?" I was so disappointed (but not surprised) when his character only lasted a few episodes.
I never thought an 80's-nerd would morph into new-millennium hottie. Go watch "Cant Buy Me Love" again and tell me you thought this guy would induce so much queer drool.
