Whether the show goes on or not, the Oscar nominations were announced today. "Juno" for best picture, best original screenplay and lead actress (Ellen Page)? It really was a weak year for movies, wasn't it? (Cute but not Oscar worthy.) I was happy to see my girl Laura Linney' recognized for "The Savages," my favorite film of 2007. i thought No Country for Old Men and There Will be blood were really good movies. Didn;t see the others.....
