Here I am at my first job out of college, at The Orange County Register. I worked as a researcher and database editor from 1990 until I moved to the East Coast at the beginning of 1993. The job lasted less than three years, but the friendships I made there will last a lifetime.

ReplyDeleteYou're quite handsome now, of course, but I'd really recommend shaving off the goatee--you look so much better cleanshaven! All very much IMHO, obviously.

Thanks for the nice words -- but for the record I do not have a goatee. It's a beard! I'm Irish, so it's red and not easily photographed, but there's hair from ear to ear, I swear!
