Free J.J. Redick

My future ex-husband J.J. Redick, who you may know better as a Duke All-American basketball player, was arrested Monday night on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Redick was The Associated Press National Player of the Year, the 2006 selection for the Wooden Award (huh-huh) as college basketball's best player, and a two-time ACC Player of the Year selection.

Redick averaged almost 27 points per game and is expected to be taken in the first round of the 2006 NBA Draft. Most mock drafts, including this one from NBADraft.net, have Redick going with the 14th selection to the Utah Jazz, but his DUI could drop him out of the NBA Draft lottery.
