What Comes Around ...

This week's "Laguna Beach" was one of the best episodes yet. The two feuding cliques made some progress toward reconciliation by getting everyone together for a bonfire. It went over pretty well even though Jessica had to endure seeing her ex Jason with that snake Alex M. and, for all practical purposes, Kristin still can't stand Taylor.

But the subsequent reunion dinner between Kristin/Alex H. and Taylor/Alex M. quickly dissolved into an unmitigated disaster when Alex M. got a text message telling her that Jason had apparently been getting cozy again with said ex Jessica (you remember her Al, the girl you stole Jason from). Alex M. mumbled something under her breath about Jessica's soon facing "the wrath of Alex."

Five stars for Kristin's combination "I feel bad for you that your boyfriend cheated on you (slash) I'm so glad my friend got back at you" facial expression.

When confronted, Jason admitted what he'd done and Alex M. decided that he should just go to Costa Rica and she'd go to Cabo San Lucas and they'd talk when they got back home (is it just me or do these kids go to more places than the Conde Nast Traveler?).

The preview for next week says "what happens in Cabo stays in Cabo." From the looks of things, a lot of Jessica's hair and blood might be staying. Get ready, Jess!
